You are warmly invited to join us for Mass on this Holy Day of Obligation as we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and seek her intercession.
Mass will be offered on Monday, December 8 at 8am or 5pm.
The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrates the conception of Mary and that she was preserved as a perfect vessel for God to enter the world, free from original sin.
This feast reminds us of God’s saving grace and Mary’s unique role in the history of salvation.

Second Sunday of Advent: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.” (Matthew 3:1-12)
John the Baptist’s voice still echoes across the centuries, calling us to clear away whatever keeps us from Christ. Advent is a season of preparation, not just decorating and shopping, but conversion of heart. The Savior is near, and now is the time to make room for Him.
🙏 Lord, help us to prepare our hearts for Your coming. Give us courage to turn from sin and bear good fruit that reflects Your love.
Repost from Knights of Columbus.

The royal treatment at its best
Not too many princesses looked beyond the walls of their palaces to notice the poor—the people who more than likely made up most of their realm. But Elizabeth of Hungary did. Married in 1221 to Louis of Thuringia, a pious husband, she lived simply and devoted herself to works of mercy even though she was the wife of a ruler. After the death of her husband in battle, she left court, arranged for the care of her three children, and associated herself with the Franciscans. She established a hospital and cared for the sick until her early death at the age of 24. The symbols of her sainthood include bread and a pitcher. May Elizabeth inspire us to provide a royal welcome to those in need with abundant charity.

A wonderful gathering at our Parish “New Pastoral Leadership” Synod this morning. As we anticipate our beloved Fr. Mike’s retirement next summer, we are grateful to many from our parish who participated in the small-group sharing on the qualities and leadership style of a new pastor, what we’d like a new Pastor to know about Sacred Heart Parish &Parish school, and what initiatives/areas of concern we’d like a Pastor to address. ...
