The Joy of Love!
Sacred Heart Family Life & Spirituality
Dedicated to strengthening the Catholic Vision of marriage and family life in all its varied expressions
The Vision of Family is a vision where everybody belongs! This is the joy in family life & in the family of faith, the Christian Community living out our call to be One Body in Christ.
Who are you? Are you divorced? Are you married with kids, worrying for them and committed to their welfare? Are you married for the second or third time? Are you a single parent struggling? Or a couple struggling to become parents? Do you or a family member identify as LGBT? Are you engaged or newly married? Well if you are, then you belong to us because you belong to Christ. Christ is the host here today. Christ sets this table. And Christ welcomes all.
Are you single, or a young person wondering where you fit in? Are you a widow? Are you longing for relationship? Are you without family close by? Are you living with illness or a caregiver in your family? Are you sometimes overwhelmed with life? Have you been a prisoner? Are you living with regret? Well if you are, then you belong to us because you belong to Christ. Christ is the host here today. Christ sets this table. And Christ welcomes all.
Are you a newcomer in this parish? An immigrant maybe? Are you from another faith tradition? Are you full of questions? Has it been a while since you darkened the doorway of a church? Or are you a regular here, full of faith and enthusiasm, active in the parish? Well if you are, then you belong to us because you belong to Christ. Christ is the host here today. Christ sets this table. And Christ welcomes all.
All people of good will are welcome here: that’s the really good news!
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Tim. 4:12
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Col. 3:14
