A blessing for Mother’s Day
Bless all the moms-those who have carried us in their bodies, and in their hearts, and in their minds,
and all those who have mothered us in some form or fashion.
The ones who answer our calls no matter the time of day, or absurd the request.
Those who remind us
that we are loved, loved, loved no matter what.
We thank them and honor them all.
Those we can hug today, and those who are now gone and those now distant from us.
And bless all those too for whom mothering is complicated, difficult, heartbreaking, or incomplete.
Do what only you can do, God:
Bless and heal.
Restore. Rebuild.
Pour love over everything these hearts have touched.

Bless all Moms and all those who celebrate them today. May they be reminded of the great gifts You have given through the vocation of Motherhood.
We also pray for all those for whom this day is difficult. We lift up those who mourn their mothers, those who have desired children but have not been able to have them, and those who have challenging relationships with their parents.
May God’s peace be present to all on this Mothers’ Day

Joy is born from the gratuitousness of
an encounter. It is hearing someone say, but not necessarily with words: “You are important to me”.
This is beautiful.... And it is these very words that God makes us understand.

NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT🕊️
Did you know this novena is the oldest and first novena? After Jesus ascended into Heaven, they prayed for nine days for the Holy Spirit to come, as Jesus had told them. With Mary, let us also prepare our hearts to receive the Holy Spirit!
Let us pray with great confidence and trust in our God, who is all Good and Loving, for the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives and our world.
Day 1 - Charity (Love)
Day 2 - Joy
Day 3 - Peace
Day 4 - Patience
Day 5 -Kindness
Day 6 - Faithfulness
Day 7 - Gentleness
Day 8 - Self-control
Day 9 - Goodness
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Hail Mary…

When we pray, we are standing with our hands open to the world. We know that God will become known to us in the nature around us, in people we meet, and in situations we run into. We trust that the world holds God’s secret within and we expect that secret to be shown to us. Prayer creates that openness in which God is given to us. Indeed, God wants to be admitted into the human heart, received with open hands, and loved with the same love with which we have been created.
