Community art projects ! THIS SUNDAY April 28 we will gather for our next community art piece to be featured at the Mass of Inclusion! Our focus will be on Pentecost, when God sends the Holy Spirit. These activities are designed so that all may participate on some level - be it decision making (choosing color or pattern ) or application (applying the material- paint, paper, glue)
Special thanks to Virginia Bayer for snacks and Marci Hubal for drinks this Sunday.
We will also have sign ups for the Mass helpers.
Acts 2:1-2
“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were.”

“Jesus has no house, because his house is the people; it is we who are his dwelling place; his mission is to open God’s doors to all, to be the presence of God’s love.”

Let us never lose sight of the Father’s saving embrace. It is the paradigm of life, the heart of the Gospel, our model of radical love. May we allow
Him to embrace us as children, so that we may embrace our brothers and sisters with the same charity.
-Pope Francis

If we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit, He will revive the theological virtues within us. If we have lost trust, God will reopen us to faith. If we are discouraged, God will reawaken hope within us. If our heart is hardened, God will soften it with His love.
-Pope Francis

“So let me ask you: Are there moments when you place yourself quietly in the Lord’s presence, when you calmly spend time with him, when you bask in his gaze? Do you let his fire inflame your heart? Unless you let him warm you more and more with his love and tenderness, you will not catch fire. How will you then be able to set the hearts of others on fire by your words and witness?”
– Pope Francis

Join us tomorrow night as we wrap up our parenting series by exploring the topic of the domestic church. We'll explore questions like, what exactly is the "domestic church"? And how can I "build it?" Does this apply to all families? (YES!) Or just certain types of families? (NO, ALL FAMILIES!)
Please join us to discern how God is calling you to enliven and strengthen your own domestic church through prayer, story, symbol, and action. This workshop will also be available simultaneously in Spanish. So come one, come all!
