Faith in Action Team (FIAT)

The Sacred Heart Faith in Action Team is a steering group which seeks to identify ways for parishioners to help the needy, in the spirit of Matthew 25: “Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine you did for me.” Broadly speaking, we seek to be active in areas of local and global poverty and pro-life ministries.
Sacred Heart parishioners are involved in a wide variety of Charitable Ministries. For a listing of our current ministries, click here.

Current Projects
We are supporting the Interfaith Shelter with homemade breakfast bags. Through donations, we supply dinners to 40 people twice a month. Your help and donations are needed!
Contact Sharon Shelton (619) 313-7827.

We also are collecting food for the food pantry at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, just over the bridge. Donations can be left at the Ministry Center during office hours or
call Bridget Carlson for pickup at (619) 857-5785.

Our Faith in Action Team is always open to new members. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Deacon Kevin Murray at (619) 246-7387 or kevin.m.murray@gmail.com.
