A thought to start the week!
The Holy Spirit is like a sunbeam whose kindly influence benefits each creature as though it were present to that creature alone.

The Trinity is a fundamental belief of the Catholic Church.
The Catechism tells us that "by sending his only Son and the Spirit of Love in the fullness of time, God has revealed his innermost secret: God himself is an eternal exchange of love, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and he has destined us to share in that exchange.
ССС 221
The "Glory Be" is a simple but beautiful prayer to say today and every day:
Glory be to Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and forever shall be. Amen.

This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Perhaps the best way we can celebrate and honor the mystery of God, Father, Son and Spirit, is by actively living a strong faith in the Holy Trinity and in God’s presence and providence, a faith that St Patrick expressed beautifully in his Lorica:
“Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in the eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me.
I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through a belief in the Threeness,
Through a confession of the Oneness
Of the Creator of creation”
Amen.

This past Pentecost Sunday, many of us sang this hymn. May it inspire us to care for the Earth and her peoples.
Psalm 104: 1, 24, 29-30, 31, 34
Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
Bless the LORD, O my soul!
O LORD, my God, you are great indeed!
How manifold are your works, O Lord!
the earth is full of your creatures
Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
May the glory of the LORD endure forever;
may the LORD be glad in his works!
Pleasing to him be my theme;
I will be glad in the LORD.
Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
If you take away their breath, they perish
and return to their dust.
When you send forth your spirit, they are created,
and you renew the face of the earth.
Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.

On the first day of June, Pope Francis urged Catholics to look to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a source of love and to bring Christ’s love “to the ends of the earth.”
“Today we begin the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, source of love and peace,” the pope said on June 1.
“Open yourselves to this love and take it ‘to the ends of the earth,’ witnessing to the goodness and mercy that flow from the Heart of Jesus.”
June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus falls on Friday June 24.
Devotion to Christ’s Sacred Heart became popularized when St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690), a Visitation nun, had a personal revelation involving a series of visions of Christ as she prayed before the Blessed Sacrament.
Have you seen the stained glass windows in our church depicting this?
