Question of the Week
Gospel Reading: Matthew 28:16—20
Just as Jesus was leaving, and his disciples were considering their upcoming bereavement, Jesus promised to be with them—and by extension, with us—always. He never leaves us. He tells us as his disciples to make others disciples also, and to baptize them—to immerse them in his Spirit—in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though we may not understand the functions of the three Members of the Trinity, all three are necessary to us, and they are all present in our prayer.
Question: How shall I encourage the newly baptized in their faith? How about the not-so-recently baptized? Who do I know who yearns for baptism?
