NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT🕊️
Did you know this novena is the oldest and first novena? After Jesus ascended into Heaven, they prayed for nine days for the Holy Spirit to come, as Jesus had told them. With Mary, let us also prepare our hearts to receive the Holy Spirit!
Let us pray with great confidence and trust in our God, who is all Good and Loving, for the Fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives and our world.
Day 1 - Charity (Love)
Day 2 - Joy
Day 3 - Peace
Day 4 - Patience
Day 5 -Kindness
Day 6 - Faithfulness
Day 7 - Gentleness
Day 8 - Self-control
Day 9 - Goodness
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.

And if some Barbie tries to seduce u from the priest hood please say holly an with 2 great aunt nuns in Ireland 🇮🇪 history tells them to back off and find another man so the priesthood can be preserved
When we pray, we are standing with our hands open to the world. We know that God will become known to us in the nature around us, in people we meet, and in situations we run into. We trust that the world holds God’s secret within and we expect that secret to be shown to us. Prayer creates that openness in which God is given to us. Indeed, God wants to be admitted into the human heart, received with open hands, and loved with the same love with which we have been created.

Gospel of the Day (John 16,20-23a)
Jesus said to his disciples: “Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy.
When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.
So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
